QuantEV+ ("we", "us") provides a quantitative interview prep and practice platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Statement explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account & profile data
- Email address (used for login and account management)
- Display name (optional)
- Avatar URL (optional)
- Preference/settings data (e.g., timezone, onboarding completion, selected track)
Practice and performance data
- Your attempts and responses to questions/games (including correctness and timing)
- Progress data used to power adaptive practice (e.g., skill mastery, review scheduling, readiness snapshots)
- Game scores (e.g., best score / attempts per game)
Billing data (paid subscriptions)
If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Stripe. We may store billing-related identifiers such as Stripe customer ID and subscription details. We do not store your full payment card number.
Usage, device, and log data
We (and our hosting/infra providers) may process technical data like IP address, device/browser information, and logs for security and reliability.

- Maintain and improve performance, reliability, and security
- Personalize practice and track progress over time
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Process subscriptions and manage billing (via Stripe)

We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data with service providers that help us operate the Service, including:
- Supabase (authentication, database, and storage)
- Google OAuth (if you choose Google sign-in; handled via Supabase Auth)
- Stripe (payments, checkout, billing portal)
- PostHog (analytics), if enabled
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of QuantEV+, our users, or others.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies to authenticate you and maintain your session (for example, via Supabase Auth). Cookie names may vary by configuration and may change over time.
If we enable product analytics (for example, via PostHog), analytics cookies may be used to understand how the Service is used and improve it.
When you interact with Stripe Checkout or the billing portal, Stripe may set cookies necessary to process payments, prevent fraud, and provide the checkout experience.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning properly.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including maintaining your account, powering your progress history, keeping the Service secure, and meeting legal obligations.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent); and request data portability.

8. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16 without permission from a parent/guardian. If you believe a minor has provided personal data without appropriate permission, contact info@quant-ev.io.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
